This game will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of $5.00 a session through stat.playing.games. Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements. Elevator Pitch Old /New School Lunch Time is a twice weekly extraction dungeon crawl using the OSE and 5e (2014) ruleset. Players can come and go as they please as each session will end at in world Moonrise. The goal is simple: Dungeon crawl for an hour of IRL time (The Lunch Time) to gain as much experience and treasure as possible so that you can retire rich and carefree ... luckily the Tower doesn't let you die. About Me TTRPG GM for 20 Years I cut my teeth on the 3rd Edition (not 3.5) of Dungeons and Dragons before looking backward to B/X, Holmes, and Red Box. I have run games in all Editions of Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder 1e, Mini-Six, WEG's Open6 Space, OVA 2nd Edition, Volcanic Legends, Sword World 2.0/2.5, and a lot more. I am an old man who knows the value of time and a quick game so focusing on that is what I will do. The Setting Over a decade ago the small fishing village of Innsfjord was on the edge of abandonment. The winters had lengthened, the fish's migratory routes had changed, and the young were leaving. Then, one evening the ground began to shake, the waters were whipped into a maelstrom, and deadly cold winds buffed the village. When the dim sun rose the next day, a massive tower loomed on the horizon and stretched into the clouds. No matter the time of day the tower's shadow hung over the village. Soon heroes and knights, arch wizards and wily thieves came to Innsfjord all drawn by the tower. Soon the once-dying town was prospering under the economy of adventurers seeking to explore or conquer the tower. Many farmboys and village hedgewitch came to Innfjord to seek their fortunes in the tower. Three things are known about the tower: The tower's treasures and threats are refreshed sometime between moonrise and sunrise. All who die in the tower are resurrected and awaken naked in Innsfjord's temple, and all their equipment and treasure are lost to the tower. Anyone in the tower at moonrise has until the moon crests the horizon to find a way out or be absorbed by the tower. FAQ FAQ: Will there be a story? Not typically but sometimes yes, that depends on the group, my availability, etc. Will there be Quests/Missions/Adventures? Sometimes. It may come to pass that rumor has it that on the 10th level there is a magic blade capable of slaying the immortal dragons ... or some such thing. Do I have to be there every week? No, this is designed so that any group of 5 can traverse the dangers and mysteries of the tower. Will there be progress? Every time a floor is "conquered" the group that conquers it will receive a permanent "Fast Pass" for the next level. If even one group member has a "Fast Pass" the entire party can use it. Be warned though, the higher you go the tougher things get, being a wet behind-the-ear farm boy on level 10 may be a death sentence. Leveling will be done in the usual way 1gp = 1xp and monster XP. The Tower's first 3 levels are typically explored by 1st level characters, 4-6 second-level characters, etc. The Tower is not static, it may not always be wise to use your "Fast Pass". How do I pay?
