Those who are captured by the gort (both man and beast), are enslaved and/or eaten. Some are used to host the gort larva that will incubate inside its victim then devour their hosts alive. Long ago the greats of your people repelled the gort. They built magic weapons and temples to aid and bless warriors who would defend the island. Many of their ancient tombs, lost shrines to the gods, and powerful weapons have been abandoned and lay waiting for the next generation of heroes to discover. These are deep in forbidding dungeons that are defended by spirits, magic and beasts which only the brave can survive. Collect magic items, study the arts in schools of fighting skills. Set sails and defend your coastal waters and liberate your people from gort ships. Kill the Gort and steal their treasure to finance your cause. Or take the offensive and raid their homelands and slay their children before they grow into an army that will destroy your entire race. With the favor of your lord you might be able to survive or at least kill your share of the gort so you can die with honor. Your God has blessed you with a few spells and prayers to protect you and help you against your enemies, but you will have to fight with your weapons, magic and courage if you want to succeed. THIS IS A CLASSLESS AND RACELESS RPG SYSTEM You are a barbarian/wizard/rogue/assassin/healer/bard - you can (and will need to) do it all - you don't have to count on party members to save you . You are not prohibited from doing things by stupid class and race restrictions designed to disable your character. I will help you make a character Or if the game is about to start I will set you up a redshirt - a 0 level character with crappy stats to play for today and you get to keep your XP and loot whether you live or die This is a hybrid between a campaign and a one shot, Only a limited amount of railroading when necessary to advance the story in an endless open world setting. The world is a vast collection of many medieval islands and many types of cryptid beasts and creatures. This is a story of HEROS- not murder hobos rapists, if you want to be a murder hobo rapist please find friends somewhere else. We play to be social and make friends. If you're not a nice person who wants to make friends and hang out with others and help each other succeed you're probably not going to fit in. HEROS ONLY - DON'T BE A MURDER RAPIST HOBO, no evil characters. 2. Sex scenes are just cut scenes like PG13 tv. 3. Be 18+ or act like you are 18+, and act like you are 18+ if you are 18+. We use foul language and don't give a F***. 4. BE CREATIVE - Have a suggestion for a pronounceable character name, if it sucks or it's hard to say I will pick a name for you. Have a BRIEF backstory about why your character hates the GORT. Have dreams and goals for your character and likes and dislikes. Have an HUMAN image ready for your token that looks like a samurai , gladiator, native american, incan, mayan, celtic, viking, african tribal or egyptian warrior. No furries, no pokemon. 5. Do start roleplay with other players, not just the GM. Talk in and out of character like you care about the story and what's happening in the game. Improvise and pretend you care about the other players even if you just met. 6 .BE NICE and care about your teammates. Role playing among friends is better than random strangers who don't know or care about each other. We are here to have fun and help each other have fun. We play to be social and make friends. If you're not a nice person who wants to make friends and hang out with others and help each other succeed, you're probably not going to fit in. We support diversity and welcome everyone regardless of race or sexual preference, but we are not going to treat you special for any reason. But you do need a certain level of intelligence to be able to edit your character sheet and keep notes on your items, and to be able to do basic addition and subtraction to keep track of your damage (like 20-5 = ? ). If you are just f-ing stupid or too high on drugs to play, we will boot you so you don't ruin the game for others. 11.
