Disable Fx for players in Jumpgate

Hey all, apologies if this has been asked/answered before. In a Jumpgate enabled game, is it possible to have the "FX" tool be GM only? I can't find a setting for this, and feel like there should be a way to do this to avoid abuse. (like someone repeatedly doing a large effect over and over again, or players fidgeting with it during other people's turns)

There's no way that I know of to turn the effects tool for players. I can understand the desire to be able to do so; you might want to post a request for it under Suggestions & Ideas . In the meantime, all you can do is ask your players not to fidget with the tool during game play. (Alternately, you can make a rule that whenever someone does that, it has an actual in-game effect - not necessarily detrimental, but that's up to you :) )
