Hi all, Please note that the Traveller character sheet has been updated. This should all be fully backwards compatible. This release includes support for the Traveller rulebook compendiums which are now development complete and will be going into closed beta prior to publication. Full list of changes are: Implemented Traveller compendium drop to character sheet for equipment, weapons etc. Minor css styling changes to remove inconsistent orange text Added and fixed compendium buttons for new compendium structure Added hover animation when dragging items from compendium to character sheet Animals drag and drop Vehicles drag and drop Green ticks on trained skills Improved visibility of PC sub-tab buttons (Prime, Skills etc.) Removed some orange borders as we had border overload! Changed Skill 'Trained' to a (pseudo) checkbox and styled in green for visibility when ticked Study period and history/allies etc. textareas now resizeable Rolltemplate made slightly more compact Fixed broken animal skills Added NPC Weapon and Armour drop targets and updated drag and drop as these categories have changed Added Lifepath section to Prime Added 'Custom' to Skills when using extended characteristics like Luck (Misc Mod is used for the modifier) Added repeating Study Periods Added Bonus/Penalty attributes to Ship components Added Ship's Locker sub-tab to Ship Added simple Crew sub-tab to Ship, auto-calculates total salaries on Ship details Fixed bug where Effect was not being added to damage for Dexterity weapons Obviously please do let me know of any issues or feature requests you may have. It has been pointed out to me by TrooperSJP that the Ship sheet is not comprehensive enough at present to run ship combat effectively with respect to allocation of power and other ‘dynamic’ considerations, so this will be an area of further development. Hi. Thanks for the work so far. First time playing traveller and the sheet has been a great help. I have a suggestion. In the combat tab can you add a carried tick box like inventory has please. My players constantly forget what weapon or armour the have on. I think it be neater then duplicating the weapon and armour into the inventory tab. And can you make the type text box for the armour in the combat tab wider please.

Hi Eamonn, Very timely! There’s been responses to my equivalent post on the Mongoose forums and this came up. The next release, which has been submitted to Roll20, has ‘carried’ checkboxes for armour and weapons and properly calculates weight and encumbrance. Should be live in several days, ~ Coryphon ~

Thank you, I will ;-) Compendiums have been a joy to work on, as I was a software developer in test automation before I retired, so I have built a toolkit to automate turning (Traveller) multi-column PDF books into HTML compendium pages ;-) Next version of character sheet is in progress, nothing particularly big, widening NPC and Vehicle input fields and adding drag’n’drop Equipment to NPCs… ~ C ~

Hi Coryphon The Traveller compendia were made purchasable sometime last night I think, so I bought them. I see there is a translation JSON file for French, but it is not actually translated. I'll see if I can do my bit and provide a parlez-vous français sheet for the Voyageurs de l'Espace Reconnu ;-) Also, being a developer with a few character sheets published on Roll20, I've looked into the source code on Github, and saw some charmancer code with various method to roll attributes, but haven't found it on the sheet itself in the VTT. I haven't pushed my investigation further yet. Any idea ? TIA Steph

Hi StéphaneD, Many thanks for purchasing them! Very excited they have gone live! So, for translations, character sheet authors such as myself are forbidden  by Roll20 to provide translations. An external service is used for this. Regarding the Charactermancer I did a little play with it just to see how it works but Traveller character generation is too complex to think about implementing at this time. It is of course possible, other sheets do it, but I'm a volunteer for Mongoose so unfortunately the time required for sheet maintenance and compendium transcription and production is all I can manage at this stage. Coryphon Yes, I know for the translation, it is done via Crowdin. Already posted something, I will adjust as soon as the official product is released to the backers. In a couple of the sheets I have developed, I included a feature where you can paste some JSON blob copied on an external website I have also developed. The sheetworker parses this blob and create all the attributes.&nbsp; I know about a website which allows you to create a character using the MgT 2e rules : <a href="https://munsondevelopment.com/" rel="nofollow">https://munsondevelopment.com/</a> It may be worth contacting the author of this site and see if he could provide a JSON export. There is a similar functionality in the Shadowdark sheet with the shadowdarklings website. Less involved than the development of a full charactermancer, but still helpful My 0.02€ ;-)

Hi again. Could the skill list for Player characters sheet be added to the NPC and animals please. I keep forgetting what skills are called and I cannot spell. Players finally got a ship and wanted me to pass on their thanks for the trade sheet. It does so much work. So thank you. We appreciate it greatly.

Hi Eamonn, I'll look into that...my only concern is that it is a massive block, although the skill selection section does reduce it... Hmmm... Leave it with me... I would have to leave the existing sections in, as 'legacy' blocks, but they could be hidden behind an expander toggle, as other peoples games may well have these populated in their characters... Thank you for your kind words regarding Trade, that was so much fun to implement, and it's always a great player mini-game! ~ C ~

Hi All, Just to let you know that &nbsp;a new character sheet will drop soon, details are below: Version 1.1.04 - Widened animal attribute fields - Added Equipment drag-and-drop block to NPC - Widened vehicle input fields - Widened weapon name field and narrowed DM to Str/Dex (rather than Strength/Dexterity) - Widened armour name field - Added 'delete' icons to weapons, armour and equipment - Fixed where some equipment has no description but has an 'Effect' instead, like base modules - Fixed bug in animal attacks where e.g. 2D+2 was not correctly parsed properly - Added some missing translations, more to do - Extended NPC to include species and age and editable name - Added 'standard' skills from PC tab to NPC tab (old skills are retained as 'Other Skills') Big ticket items in general are the 'delete' buttons for weapons and armour and some usability changes to the NPC sheet, which have specifically come about now I have finished&nbsp; Secrets of the Ancients &nbsp;transcription which has SO MANY NPCS!&nbsp; Not sure exactly when this will drop, about a week or so, ~ Coryphon ~

Hi Coryphon On the combat tab, the i18n key for armor is 'shiparmour-u' Should be something else, because : - Armor for a vehicle or starship is "Blindage" (which I have setup in the crowdin file) - Armor for an individual is "Armure", not "Blindage" TIA
