Does 2024 replace 2014 content in an ongoing campaign?

While this might sound silly, its been a huge worry for me due to having heard that once you buy the 2024 content, it supplants your 2014 content as being the actively pushed content. Wizard spells might break trying to forcefully change from 2014 to 2024 and the like. I am running a very long ongoing 2014 content game with the barest sprinkle of 2024 that I've been copy/pasting as needed. If buying the book screws my game up, I'm going to be incredibly frustrated. If it helps me be able to drag and drop Starry Wisp Cantrip rather than copy/pasting it in as one of the only things I use it for, thats fine. Secondly, similar to the above, when I am looking for content, say I look up Paladin in my compendium, and it shows me SRD Paladin, PHB Paladin, maybe a 3rd party Paladin, will it also show a separate 2024 Paladin, or will the PHB (2014) disappear and be replaced with PHB (2024) Paladin?

Hi Ahjin Guild! You lose nothing by buying the new rulebooks. All of the material you have already purchased remains intact and usable. The 2024 sheet can use most of the 2014 rulebook materials, and more compatibility is being added weekly. The 2014 sheet retains all of its existing ability to use 2014 content, but in this case, cannot use a lot of 2024 content. If you need to mix and match sheets for some reason, then you can create a game using the Jumpgate option, and gain the ability to install both sheets in one game. In general, as the creator of a game, you have full control over which sourcebooks and rulebooks are available within your game. Feel free to ask any specific questions and I or someone else here will do their best to answer.
