Longer Tooltip Text

I would like to see longer tooltip text for tokens. I like to add flavor text to environments, or info on what they see as clues for traps and puzzles. However, 150 characters does not leave a lot to work with. I would like to see something around 500 or 600 characters in the tooltip.

+1, but map icons linked to handouts would be even better. A 600 character tool tip would be a bit much on smaller screens.

The tooltip could be scrolling, or resizable, so that it would be compatible with small and any screen sizes.  +1  It should be Unlimited amount of text (not 150, not 600, but like a text document on a computer, no practical limit). It needs to be big enough to fit Spell Description, Rogue Skills, Shoppe Inventory list, magic item properties, etc.  Importantly it needs to fit all the Plain-Text that could go on a Card (IRL, at the table), since Roll20 Cards currently don't allow text alongside the card image, but they do allow Tooltips. 

+1. I would add that it should accept links to handouts.

Once the longer text is added with TokenMod, then can you edit it in the regular Edit Token > Tooltip interface? And can you read it on the pop-up tooltip over the token on the VTT? 

Thank you for the suggestion, I tried the "Token Mod", and couldnt make heads or tails of it. It may functionally do as you say, but intuitive it is not.

It's a complex Mod (which I use extensively for a lot of things, using prior instructions I learned), and I personally have never seen instructions for using it to make long Tooltip text.  We need Andrew to come back in and tell us the technique for that,  - OR -  Ask the question again under the API Mods subforum and ask "How to write/edit Tooltip text with TokenMod?"
