Auras / Token Defaults in Game Default Settings not working

Hi there I'm experiencing an issue that is driving me up the wall. I'm in  Settings > Game Default Settings > Token Defaults and trying to change the below Auras configuration (see screenshot) to a different colour and size and when I do this and click Save Defaults it doesn't actually update. When I then go back into the Game Default Settings they have have stayed as the below. Please help fix this as it means every token I drag onto the map has a massive black circle around it. I've also noticed that it thinks the transparent options is '00000' instead of 'transparent' so I think something is broken here.
I haven't been able to get the 'transparent' color option to stick for any color option other than emitted light for months.

And yet, I have had it appear as a default for player colors in both Jumpgate and the legacy VTT.  I sent in a request and was told that it would not set a player token to transparent in Jumpgate, but ran into it twice last week.  Makes it real difficult when you ask a player to ping their target and nothing can be seen.

Hi Oginme,  Could you supply the ticket number for the ticket where the Devs told you that? I'd like to follow up on that.

The API can set the player color to transparent in Classic. I use that trick in the Ping Buddy mod for invisible ping pulls. I believe I have run into the issue where it cannot be set to transparent in Jumpgate (i.e. Ping Buddy always shows them), but I have not re-tested in some time.

It does not make sense for the VTT to automatically assign transparent as the color for a player. Last week, I had one player in Jumpgate who was attempting to ping for the first half hour before I realized that the color was set to transparent.  He changed the color and mine (as GM) suddenly switched to transparent.  This should not be expected behavior in either the classic or jumpgate.
