It's been ten years since the creation of Pacifica triggered cataclysmic destruction along the west coast of the Americas. Vancouver, sheltered by its island, was among the few of the big cities spared the worst devastation. Still, its shattered buildings and flooded streets have been abandoned and New Vancouver now stands further east. Built as a beacon to a shining tomorrow, it has come to bear the scars of the painful birth of a new era. Refugees of the shattered spires from California to Washington choke the streets while bureaucrats desperately cling to the illusion that the future is unfolding as intended. The men and women of power have established a new kingdom, a paradise on Earth that welcomes the talented, the brilliant, and the beautiful. In the face of this a new breed of hero has taken up the cause of the common folk, to protect those who have no place in the coming utopia. The streets of New Vancouver are the new battleground where champions and criminals alike have decided to carve their own path, forging a destiny that can lead the masses to demand a seat at the table alongside the new gods themselves. This is a campaign using the 5th Edition HERO System rules. Characters will be built using 200 points and representing street level superheroes. A new city and its forgotten people await new heroes!
