Session summary

I figure since we're going to have some time between sessions, briefly writing down what happened each session will help us remember. Session 1 - 10/3 The group started in a cell, with someone posing as Sandra's 'sister' coming to visit her in jail. Sergeant Blackerly appeared to be under some magic influence and left them alone in an adjoining room, where the woman indicated that she's working for someone who wants to meet us. She gave Sandra a handkerchief with a prominent symbol of Asmodeus on it before leaving. Back in the cell, it was determined that the handkerchief is able to summon various items by plucking at the embroidered respective symbols. Once they're pulled, they can't be readded to the cloth and vanish from it. Using the lockpicks, we all escaped the cell, killing a pair of guards in the process, but not before they were able to set off an alarm. While trying to open a heavy door in the jail, Sergeant Blackerly and two other guards showed up. They were all killed. Inside the reinforced cell was an ogre named Grumblejack who appeared drugged, though he's following us slowly as we descended into the prison more. We didn't find anyone so far on the next floor, but were able to find an exit into the yard. After scouting the area aerially, we were able to see that it is an island with the single point of exit to the mainland being a heavily guarded bridge.
Good idea! Thanks for posting this!
Thanks! I'm going to inevitably miss stuff so anyone please jump in when I do.
Good idea, thanks. btw, just to follow up on a couple of rulings I made during the game: Consensus seems to be that if you use Basic Tactical Strike on a shapeshifted druid, he makes a regular Beast Attack even though it isn't really a basic attack. I think that makes the most sense. Also, turns out that you DON'T add your attribute modifier to spell damage. If you're supposed to add your modifier, it will say so explicitly in the spell/attack/ability you're using.

I can just walk on the bottom of the ocean correct? My character would say something like, "If you lower me into the water on the other side of the wall, I will walk to the gate works to surprise them as you come from the front." Just a question for next session.
That's right, you don't need to breathe. Of course, as you note, that's not the same as being able to jump into water from sixty feet up with no ill effects...
That's why I said lowered :P
In other news, I've invited a new player to join us to make up the numbers. I figure we'll just retcon him into the prison break and pick up from there. He should be able to participate in tomorrow night's game.
That's great news! We now have more havoc we can wreak upon this Devil-Forsaken earth!(see what I did there? :P)
