Can I cast my game to a local TV which I am using for animated maps?

I'm new to pretty much everything but have an, also new, group where we play locally (not remote at all). Ideally I'd like to use Roll20 but have the maps where the players are (with the ribbon) displayed to a TV connected using HDMI, but on my local laptop have a more GM view that allows me to hide and reveal stuff. Is that possible in R20? I've tried some searches but I don't think I'm using the right terms.

What you could do is log in with two different accounts. In addition to the account that you used when creating the game (your "GM" account), create another account using a different email address. (This is often referred to on the forum as a "dummy account"). Invite that "dummy" account to your game and do not give it GM privileges. Then, when playing, log on with your regular account (the one which you were using when you created the game) that you will use to run the game. With a different browser (*) log into Roll20 with that second, "dummy"account, then cast the view from that dummy account's browser window to your TV. Edit: If you ever upgrade to a subscription that allows you to use Dynamic Lighting, you'll need to assign that dummy account a "character sheet" with a linked token that has vision, and have that token on the map. The token does not have to be visible to the other players: https://wiki.roll20.net/Invisible_Tokens Here is a link to a post that describes other things that you can do with that dummy account: https://app.roll20.net/forum/permalink/6049241/ (*) You can also log in using a tab open to a Private Browsing Window, although I prefer using two browsers: my main account in Chrome and the dummy in Firefox.
Thank you for the tips. I've been evaluating some other software that is tailored toward having in-person events with animated maps (on a display that's laying down on the table), but they are either really poor performance, or/and lacking in features, and overall just flakey. Roll20 seems much better. So while this method seems a bit of a faff, I'm going to try it out. Cheers!
