A powerful and peaceful kingdom has been freed from a fey curse by the actions of the PCs. Lost in time for 300 years the kingdom has new enemies in the form of a plotting Duchess, a cult worshipping a dark lord of the fey, and a world blasted back to medieval technology by a magical war that lasted for over 100 years. You may be an envoy from the restored kingdom of Haven, you may be an adventurer, maybe you guard the nearby silver mines against bandits, but in any case the changing tides of peace draw you into larger events as the duchess D'hims of Galluvia and her red priesthood of Arik despoil the land and crush it beneath an iron boot. Squads of Galluvian soldiers escort corrupt tax collectors to every village and town, the red priesthood terrorizes the populace adn brainwashes their youth, and deadly creatures wander out from the high mountains and the Misty Swamp to prey upon travellers adn farmers. Survive travel through the wilds, explore lost ruins, defend the innocent, perhaps even end a war before it has begun in the old-school module in a land of dark fairy tales! Expect tactical combat, hex and dungeon crawls, mysteries, engaging RP, and lots of choices to make! The party is 6th level and has a dwarf life cleric, a tabaxi artificer, a warforged fighter/warlock, and a collection of NPCs to fill in the gaps so you can play whatever you like! Use Standard Array using 2014 D&amp;D rules. The table is all-ages and has a couple of younger players who are mature enough to handle rough language, grizzly scenes, and the tactical gameplay. Combats will not be balanced as some foes will be beyond your skill and you may need to overcome the challenge another way.
