Greetings programs. I'm not sure there is much interest in this system and genre on R20, but thought I would include a search here as well as other places. Just brass tacks. Here is the story so far: Since I was a kid long ago, I ran long and successful comic book-based rpgs with the longtime fave being Champions. Growing up a comics kid I loved not just Marvel and DC, but great 90's alternatives as well. My setting was a kitchen sink that included not just supers but so many other pop culture genres. A true multiverse. Anyway I have longed for a system easy to use on Roll20 (mulled over things like Mutants and Masterminds and other modern ones). Now finally there is an easy but robust system in Marvel Multiverse, and more importantly a great interface between Demiplane and Roll20. Now that I have found my way to live the dream (dramatic music for effect) I am putting a campaign together. MM rpg is a heavy Marvel vibe in the compendium (the spider man universe obsession is ridiculous in them), and yeah my setting is a nihilistic future of the Marvel Universe where few if none of the original characters are around. But it will be much more than a Marvel fest. If you have any interest please take a look at my profile where I have added some info on this long-time mish mash setting I have used since I was pretty much a kid. This would not just be some Avengers or Justice League Capes and boots thing with nothing but punch-ups on city streets (but I have run those major supers group kind of campaigns and that could be in the future after this little experiment). Fun and interesting characters from various pop genres with a heavy mix of character interaction and role play outside of the violence would be, as always, a big part of the campaign. The system is easy and you could go watch a 10 minute youtube video on character creation and be in the Demiplane character creator expressing your creativity in no time. I will have it all set up. So message me if you have any interest. I would love to be doing a session zero in a couple weeks or so. I am Pacific time and am eyeing a Thursday or Friday night to have three-hour sessions. Thanks for reading and will get back to you if you are kind enough to message me! Mac
