+1, I use resource boxes extensively on the 2014 sheet. And one thing I like is that they're separate from the lists of weapons and inventory, which can both get quite long. Now the 2024 sheet does allow an item to have a count (like, say, Arrows) and calculates weight off that. And they may be thinking about some kind of physical container (look at the description, which is where they put things like per-unit weight, and it also includes "Storage: Quiver"). But today, you have to switch between Combat (to make an attack with a longbow) and inventory (to decrement the arrow count). For this, putting the counter with the weapon would be useful, but the problem you get into there is that weapons can often take multiple ammunitions: for longbow, consider someone with two quivers of normal arrows, one containing +1 arrows, and an "Arrow of Giant Slaying" they keep in their backpack, just in case. Having the counters off to the side, independent of the tabbed section containing Combat and Inventroy would allow it to be displayed alongside either of them, and also still visible if, for example, the character was a spellcaster looking at Spells. Things I use Resource boxes for: Arrows and other ammunition (of course) Healing potions and healers kit uses available Gems (one box per denomination, 10gp, 50gp, etc) Spell components for per-casting components with a cost so you can't substitute Remaining Feature/Trait useages Charges for magic items that expend charges
