Grouping Tokens

Score + 7
If you have grouped a character token together with another token (for example an animated shield token, or a character status token) then it's no longer possible to use the character token's macros (you will have to use the macros directly from the sheet only). Additionally, most of the marketplace tokens occupy something like a 15-20 feet area on the map, when the image itself is less than 5 feet wide. All this extra non-interactive area of a token will prevent it from moving through Dynamic Lighting lines as per collision rules. This makes most of the tokens that are meant to be a visual refernce of a character token impractical and have therefore no value (unless you are not using DL and macros). Not sure if anyone else is bothered by it.
+1.  I'd add a "real" upvote if I had any free to give. The first time this happened for me with some purchased tokens, I downloaded the individual images, cropped the transparent borders, then upload the edited images to my art library and use those copies instead of the originals. A lot of work that really wasn't worth the effort. If I ever purchase tokens that have this issue  in the future   I'll just get a refund.
@rick a. are you aware if this can be done with animated tokens ? Thank you
I don't know. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable about animated graphics will see this thread and supply an answer. Viggo said: @rick a. are you aware if this can be done with animated tokens ? Thank you
