Monochrome darkvision setting

Score + 10
Many games have 'darkvision' and often descibe it as it is in D&D, 'However, the creature can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.' Therefore can we get a token vision setting that renders the visible map in 'shades of gray' please?

There is a way. The recommended way for this is, set the Token's vision to: Night Vision enabled Night Vision Effect: choose Nocturnal Night Vision Tint: change it to grey It's explained under the "Nocturnal" heading on this page: https://help.roll20.net/hc/en-us/articles/360051754954-Token-Settings-for-Dynamic-Lighting
This is what I use for Night Vision in my games, and it's a reasonable compromise. It's not true monochrome, but the grey tint causes colors to be muted. Gold said: There is a way. I do this at the moment, but Its not ideal. Gold said: There is a way. Oh ok. I hope they implement the feature that you Suggest.
A score of +2 seems unlikely! Thanks for the advice thought Gold. :)
You just posted this yesterday, have to give it time for people to see, up to +6 now (I am one of them). A toggle would be much easier then having to manually change every token that has darkvision. The fix that was suggested while it kinda works, I find it makes it harder to see (the image isn't as clear). Would love a true greyscale darkvision with crisp clearness. With a Pro account, I can use the TokenMod MOD to adjust the vision for multiple tokens. As for the Grey tint making it harder to see, I think that helps to alleviate the problem of people not wanting to play characters that don't have nigh vision: Yes, some character types can see in the dark, but not very well, and they still need a light source to see clearly. It adds another element about the environment for the players to take into account; it makes the dark "scary" agzin. I know that it's made a difference in my games. Feyte said: ...
