Current LFG: I have taken an extended break and am looking to run Anima Beyond Fantasy again to remind people that the system exists and it's very fun. The expectation of the game at the moment would be either running a short module-style game or if people are interested in a longer game we can discuss what that would look like.  Voice is over discord, don't be insufferable, that's my job.  :) This is a homebrew world for Anima Beyond Fantasy, much of the rules for Anima remain the same (with a few exceptions), but the world has completely changed. General World Setting: The "Age of Dusk." It is a time of senescence for the human species, during which hybrids known as the "Others"—those who are human, yet not—exist in great numbers. On the humid jungles of a dying land, a smaller and smaller gathering of people make their living in a world they no longer know. senescence səˈnesəns/ noun the condition or process of deterioration with age. BIOLOGY: loss of a cell's power of division and growth. More Specific World Setting: The recorded history of Menosea goes back about 700 years. Any further back is referred to as myths and legends, but there is one thing that all historians agree on, and that is the Cataclysm. The Cataclysm is believed to have happened about 1,500 years ago. Many tales have it that the creatures of darkness shackled the Devils that created them and led them against the virtuous Gods of Creation. It was in this struggle that mans' great marvels were torn asunder and the ocean rose to sink half the world in salty brine. Humans believe that their gods triumphed over the creatures of the dark but at great cost; their war machines lost to the rising seas and what little that remained quickly fell to ruin and the knowledge of their creation and maintenance has been forgotten.
