Firefox users: I had the same problem on a few sites. Adblock exception for s3.amazonaw.* didn't fix it. nor did flat out disabling it. Tools>Page Info>Media listed the images and had a checked Block Images from s3.amazonaw.com option. I unchecked it and it fixed the problem for me on both Roll20 and Kickstarter, which were the only places I noticed it.
