Macros in the 2024 Character sheet

Hi all, I am trying to find a source that lists macros and tipps for macros that would work with the new 2024 DND sheet. But all I find are mostly older posts that do not specify if the macros are written for the old or the new character  sheet. The wiki also does not seem to differentiate but just has a general macro syntax guide and examples that seem to be written for the old 2014 character sheet. Is it possible that macros don't work with the new 2024 DND character sheet.? Is that correct? Except API scripts seem to exist for the 2024 character sheet, although I don't know what that actually is. I never looked deeper into this, since we have no pro account that allows to use API scipts.
You can now create macros for basic attacks on the 2024 sheet, both PC and NPC.   You need to open the character sheet in Standard View. Next to each attack action is the edit option (pencil). Click on that to open up the attack edits. At the top are three dots, click on those to access the macro options. You can click on any of the options to create the macro you want (macro bar or token macro) My commentary is that this needs to be done to every sheet you have and so far there is no way to automate this function.  Additionally, you need to repeat the process for every 2024 game you have or transmogrify the sheets over from one you have already created.   It is also very limiting in only allowing actions which cause damage.  Many of the non-attack spells do not offer this option. Useful spells for encounters such as Shield, or Misty Step which are used frequently and should be easily accessed to speed up the action cannot be made into macros.
Thanks for the advice. That feature really slipped my attention. What about other not attack related macros? For example I tried to use a initiative macro that allows to decide whether to roll initiative with advantage, normal or disadvantage. That worked on the 2014 sheet but not anymore on the 2024. Is there a fundamental change  to the syntax? Or do some macros work and some other not?
