D&D 2024 & D&D 2014 How to set sheet options

Ok So I have a campaign that I am running primarily with D&D 2024 character sheets but we have a lot of NPCs already created in 2014 sheets. I have a plus account and I am the GM. I want to set the default settings to never whisper and always roll damage. Yet when I go to game settings the options are not available to change the default settings. I have tried with just the 2014 character sheets (in a new campaign) and I can change the game settings. I have also tried in a new campaign with just 2024 character sheets (and can't find the options). When both character sheets are active the game settings for character sheets is greyed out. ps: I don't want to erase all 2014 characters as there are 600+ NPCs that I don't want to redo. pss: I know I can also do this on each individual NPC/Monster but there has to be an easier way.  psss: After several hours of searching I could not find this topic so apologies if its already out there and I missed it. Quite frustrating that all the advice just says to update the game settings.

Hi Phil,  Unfortunately this is a problem with D&D 5e 2024 +2014 hybrid games. There are no 2014 controls when in a 2024 game. There is a Pro account option (an API Script) that can deal with the 2014 sheets, although I don't think it has been tested to work in a 2024+2014 environment.  If you want to upgrade your account temporarily to use that then let me know, I will test the hybrid setup before you upgrade.  Alternately, you can try to remove 2024 for a bit, that will give you the controls for 2014, then you can use the standard game settings controls for whisper. Set the whisper, apply it, then restore 2024.  But there are a couple problems with this alternative:  1) It can pose some risks to your game, so a backup game would need to be created. 2) The entire reason the API Script exists is because the Game Settings -> Apply Default Settings is bugged for whisper settings. It can create duplicate settings that causes character sheets problems.

Ouch while not what I was hoping to hear (I was hoping I was just blind) I do appreciate the response. At least I know I'm not crazy...  If I remove 2024 (and how would I do that) what happens to the character sheets that are using 2024? Are they deleted? or converted?
Another question if I upgrade to pro is there a script that converts characters/NPCs to 2024? so that I can use just the 2024 character sheets? and for that matter is there a function with Jump gate/2024 to always roll damage (I couldn't find it when I created a game jsut using 2024 sheets either)?
I saw on the roadmap that there was supposed to be a 'converter to 2024' back in Fall of 2024 (<a href="https://blog.roll20.net/posts/update-roadmap-for-dd-2024/" rel="nofollow">https://blog.roll20.net/posts/update-roadmap-for-dd-2024/</a>). But couldn't find any reference to it since then. Does anyone know the status? Also I copied the game and removed all 2014 character sheets but even then I was unable to find an option to 'always roll damage'. Is it a 'missing' feature?&nbsp; Is there an update on when the 2024 character sheets will have the base options of 2014 (updated roadmap)?

When one sheet is removed all the characters and tokens based on that sheet are hidden, but not removed.&nbsp; To confirm, 2014 is the second sheet not the first? The process is as follows:&nbsp; Duplicate your game (safety step) Go inside the game go to the My Settings tab -&gt; Character Sheets section -&gt; remove the second sheet (presumably 2014) Go to Roll20.net Click the name of your game Click Settings Click Game Settings Character Sheet Template -&gt; change it to D&amp;D 5e 2014 -&gt; Save From here you can enter the game to make sure 2014 Characters/tokens have returned (2024 Characters/tokens will be temporarily disabled) Then you can change the Game Settings, then apply them via the Apply Default Settings option in the game.&nbsp; Note though, the bug may still strike them.&nbsp; After that you can add 2024 as the second sheet back into the game or switch the main sheet back to 2024 and then add the 2014 as the second sheet back into the game.&nbsp;

Here is the current roadmap. &nbsp; There are no game settings for 2024 like there is for 2014.&nbsp;
Thanks for the update. It looks like they moved the item from the 2024 roadmap to in discussion with no plan on if or when they will implement. There also doesn't seem to be a way to get rid of 2024 now that the campaign is created. is that correct?&nbsp; My options as I see it are either manually change every monster/character sheet to always roll damage / Never whisper or create an entire new campaign from scratch... What a waste of time... So frustrating

I can understand the frustration, but they have been pretty transparent about this in multiple posts. They ran into a lot of bugs and difficulty with the 2024 sheet. "In Discussion" doesn't mean they won't do it, just that it is being discussed.&nbsp; With that said, yes you can switch off of the 2024 sheet using the process I outlined above.&nbsp; I suggest recreating any 2024 sheet/token in 2014 before doing that. Then you can follow the process I outlined above to remove the second sheet (2014) then switch the primary sheet from 2024 to 2014.&nbsp; At that point all 2024 sheets and tokens will become inaccessible, hence the step to recreate any 2024 sheet and token in 2014.&nbsp; Phil said: Thanks for the update. Ok I tried this but it didn't work... Or I should say it sort of worked. I was able to get the 2014 sheet options and was able enable auto roll damage. But when I reverted back and re-enabled the 2024 sheet&nbsp; (Last step) &nbsp; it had converted all the 2024 characters to 2014 sheets and deleted all of their information (back to the charactermancer screen with all ability scores set to 10 and every field empty). So while I didn't lose any of the 2014 historical information I lost all of the new 2024 information.&nbsp; Gauss said: When one sheet is removed all the characters and tokens based on that sheet are hidden, but not removed.&nbsp; To confirm, 2014 is the second sheet not the first? It worked up&nbsp;
