How to make a legacy Game?

So I've been using roll20 to run my game called "Plague's Curse" which isn't jumpgated and is a legacy type game.  However I'm trying to make a one shot for some new players but can't since it's forcing me to use the jumpgate version which is very buggy and not working for me. I simply want to make a legacy game like my main game. Please someone help!

I think your best options are, either use Copy Game on your existing Legacy game, or what I recommend is try Jumpgate again and ask for help on troubleshooting whatever issues that you have with it.

Hi SharkiWeasel,  In addition to what Gold wrote, the ability to create brand new Legacy games has been sunset. You may still copy existing Legacy games.  This was posted in multiple places, including the blog here .
Heya, so I kinda found the problem which was BetteR20 just messing up everything with the jumpgate version. I got rid of it and now it's working better
I saw this coming but it is still very disappointing. I much preferred legacy. It was simple but it worked. This will likely be the straw that broke this camel's back.

Hi Barry R.,  Jumpgate is working for the majority of people. If it isn't working for you the Devs want to hear about it so they can resolve the issue(s). Please file a report via the Help Center and let them know what is going on for you.  Also, you can continue to play in Legacy. Current legacy games can continue to be played, and copies of Legacy games can be made. The thing removed is the ability to make brand new legacy games.  This has been one of the softest landings I've seen for sunsetting a feature....ever. Legacy does need to be sunset, its code is too old and is getting problematic to keep maintained.

I'm glad that the upgrade is working for most people, but still frustrated that I'm in the minority for which it is not. I've recently begun setting up a new campaign and am experiencing a lot of lag and buggy behavior even when the only accounts logged into the game are my main account  and my dummy account. Even with only two accounts logged in, I have to repeatedly temporarily switch maps, refresh the game and sometimes even need to completely log out and back in to clear the problem.  I've tried all the usual debugging and troubleshooting methods: clear cache, different browsers, incognito/private mode, reduced number of light sources, removing all MODs, not using explorer mode or Roll20's built-in audio/visual and even made sure all my browsers and device drivers are up to date. I've also sent many help requests about my issues with Jumpgate and even though the support staff are always very communicative and try to be helpful, the end response often ends up being, " For the moment, we have made sure this has been escalated over to the dev team and logged so they can continue looking into this and working towards a full fix in the future!"

Rick, given the issues you are experiencing, is there a reason you have opted to set up your new campaign in Jumpgate instead of copying an old one legacy game?
Mostly because I made the mistake of not keeping at least one legacy game as a backup. keithcurtis said: Rick, given the issues you are experiencing, is there a reason you have opted to set up your new campaign in Jumpgate instead of copying an old one legacy game?
