Circular/ more functional turn counter.

I think it would save a lot of screen space if we could have a circular turn counter with the current turn also shown in the middle(for names and non token turns). I would also like the ability to have the option to have the counter ping/center the screen on the start of the tokens turn for the gm/owner. And perhaps even an option to set it to skip a tokens next X turns. (edit:turn number was added)
Exalted needs a circular turn counter.

Tenacious Techhunter said: Exalted needs a circular turn counter. Er, not really? Add the speed of your action to your initiative count and resort the turn order and then all participants will be in the correct order. API scripts could make it fancy (like keeping everyone in the 0-6 range and resorting the order automatically), but manually maintaining the turn order now would be no different if it were shaped in a circle. You could even make it part of your macro: /me swings his mighty daiklave! Speed [[4 &{tracker:+}]], Attack [[?{Die Pool|5}d10]]

I think that the Turn Order is circular now, in the sense that an odometer is circular. It loops if you keep pressing the "Arrow" button at the bottom of the Turn Order. It's like a circular tire on a car, and you are looking at the front of the tire tread, rather than the side. It acts like a circle with infinite looping. When you get to the end of the Turn Order, the last person is at the top, and if you click once more, the first person is back at the top and the last person is back at the bottom. What am I missing about the circular suggestion? How would that be different? Asking to try to understand, not to invalidate the suggestion. P.S. A Turn COUNTER ("Round Counter") was added today in the latest Roll20 update . This might resolve another part of your suggestion. The request for an option to skip a token for X number of rounds, is still a fresh suggestion, I believe.
The reason i suggested the turn order box be circular is an issue of space rather than function as think you could fit more information into a smaller space so that i wouldent have to move the inititive tracker around so much in maps where there is a lot going on and i cant zoom out.

Maybe you could make a mockup of what you are picturing?
Well its been a long time since ive made somthing like that but i gave it a shot. Aesthetically it doesnt look very good and i should have made the text larger but i think it serves to show the basic idea of the shape as an option. This is it on its own with some mock characters And here it is put into roll 20 as an image. See how you can make out ten entrys in roughly the same space as the current tracker shows five. I think roll20 might have toned down the image quality so some of it might not appear as clear as it should be. But this should be enough to show the basic idea.

Here is the link to the better version of the image: <a href="https://s3.amazonaws.com/files.d20.io/images/63253" rel="nofollow">https://s3.amazonaws.com/files.d20.io/images/63253</a>...

Honestly I think that's much less readable and takes up a lot more horizontal screen real estate (despite having smaller text!) Moving the names to the outer edge of the circle would improve readability somewhat, as you could increase the font size, but what happens when there are more pie slices in the circle? Let's say I have a party of 5 people and there are 10 enemies to put in the turn tracker. A fisheye display on mouseover might work, but I gotta say, I really hate fisheye (and I don't own a mac!)
