Looking for 2-3 players to join a 2024 5e game set in the Obojima, a "leisure fantasy" campaign setting inspired by the works of Studio Ghibli and The Legend of Zelda series. I will be running my own personally written campaign which seeks to not only explore but challenge the setting. In addition to the player options available to characters in the Obojima setting, I will be allowing the entirety of player options available in the Ryoko's Guide to the Yokai Realms. There will be extensive homebrew and subsystems that I seek to be testing out as well. The Bloom in the Static For generations, life in Petalfall was a gentle dream. Each day began with the clear, life-giving chime of the bell spirit Tori, a sound that coaxed the dawn blossoms to open and the streams to run sweet. It was a peace that felt eternal. That dream ended in a single morning. Tori's chime cracked, shattering into a discordant static that scraped at the soul. In its wake, a supernatural sickness fell upon the valley. The vibrant blossoms wilted to ash-grey before your eyes. The water tasted of dust and emptiness. The very heart of your home was dying, and no one knew why. The refugees from distant lands, recently arrived with stories of a war you barely understood, recognized the symptoms. They called it the "Grey Static," and their fear was a contagion all its own. Now, the people of Petalfall are fracturing between those who want to help the newcomers, those who blame them, and those who simply want to flee. You are caught in the center of the storm. You heard the bell crack. You tasted the blighted water. When the elders and the refugee leaders ask for your help, the task is clear: venture into the ailing Spirit Wood, find the source of this sickness, and save your home. But you will soon learn that some cures can be worse than the disease, and that the walls built to keep you safe may have already become your cage. The problem was never just the sickness or the strangers. The problem is a truth, long buried, that is now breaking through the soil—and it will force you to decide what parts of your dying world are worth saving, and what price you are willing to pay for a future. For those interested please fill out the following recruitment form. Recruitment will include questions with some consideration for the character you're seeking to play. If you need lore information related to Obojima, I can message you the link of the core book. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScL-tqElyCSRaHqSGf1aUDcjmnQu6X75RLiuOrkqKEXiDWp0Q/viewform?usp=dialog
