This is why when drawing dynamic lighting barriers I change the grid size to .5, .25 or even .125 so that I can "snap" to the smaller grid intersections, then set it back to the correct size for the map before adding windows and doors. I do the same thing, but only because a lot of map makers make narrow walls that are not quite on-grid.
