Beginning the finishing touches for my campaigns, which start the week of January 13, and I'm still looking for more players to fill in the last gaps. Before you ask, yes I'm doing five campaigns a week, and yes, I can do them. I've had lots of practice herding multiple levels of cats and other chaos for multiple years. All games are from 8 PM to 11 PM Eastern US time. GMT... +5, I think? It's either + or - 5. Monday (One Slot): "Knots In The Fur" The party is currently in free-explore after their main story quest was interrupted by a war set off by a previous group from a different day. Sort of mid-game. The next potential thread hook takes them to the harsh Glacierbone Ice Wastes should they decide to take it up, or they can keep wandering and attempting to do the greatest good where they end up, as they have been doing. Tuesday (FULL): "Heirs On (Dragon) Fire" Currently full, but watch this space just in case. A new campaign starting. A "Thortharrak Wolfspeaker" (think of a cross between a humanoid pangolin and a komodo dragon that talks to wolves) has become heir to a dead dragon's hoard and is being chased by... uhhh... let's say, adversaries... whose patience is now measured in negative numbers. He needs an escort from one country to another in order to mediate things between dragon and Thortharrak clans, and is paying very very well for his services. Some would say too well, suggesting unusual shenanigans are afoot... Wednesday (Full): "The Rattleworm Underlings" Full and unlikely to change. They're a good-knit group. Thursday (One Slot): "Cheese and Whine" We're hand-waving a mega-dungeon (it took 9 months of real time, the party still didn't finish before holiday breaks but they were damn close, and we got bored) and starting with a successful after-action report and aftermath of said experiences, then we're plot-less and random until something falls into the party's lap. Or the party falls into someone *else's* lap. I have plans. Heh heh heh. The party is late-ish game and high-ish (for me) level, so backstory might not be really a thing here. Campaign likely to close in early-ish 2027, so you've got more than enough time to explore characters despite being "late game." Currently up to 21 people who applied, said they'd stay to make characters, then ghosted/blocked behind my back. What the hell. Friday (Three Slots): "The Beach Episode" (title subject to change). New game, who dis? A wealthy individual known as "Madam M" wants to Minecraft... er, build a new country from the ground up. Naturally, she needs hardy adventurers to be both scouts and foremen on the project. So where does she choose to settle? The deepest regions of the largest desert on the planet, of course! Fortunately, there's an oasis nearby... for given... uh... "values" of oasis... assuming she doesn't want to dig a river to the ocean from it. And then there are the naga living in the mountains. Currently up to 7 people who applied, stayed to make characters, then ghosted. Wish people would tell me WHY or what I need to change, though, so I can do better. The world is my own homebrew, based off of 3.5 with a splattering of 5E here and there. Experience Level is less "powers at new level" (all classes have been rewritten to have lots of skills at first level based on class) and more HP/skill points, but certain other homebrew things do increase with experience level (such as homebrew "Specialization" skills). The world is an open sandbox. You can follow the main story quest set out before you, or ignore it entirely (as most groups have) and go do your own thing depending on what the party wants or discovers. Timelines can cross -- other parties may contribute to (or ruin) shenanigans! It's happened a couple times, the most recent being a war being started due to the actions of one group... which ruined the plot of two others unintentionally. Heh. There are multiple homebrewed races and classes, allowing for something for everyone... but many races do not exist. There are no elves, tieflings, assimar, goliaths, warforged, gnomes, halflings, and probably a few others I am forgetting. I do have some analogues for some of them, such as "Thortharrak" in place of Dragonborn. Do *not* comment in this listing. It will be deleted (current deletion total: 4 ) and you will be viewed as unable to follow simple directions.
