Another fresh Dungeon Scrawl update just launched, making it easier to manage images, customize the look and feel of your maps, and share your maps with others. Here’s what’s new: Favorites Star images in the library for easy reuse across maps and sessions. Anyone with an account (no subscription required) can favorite library images, and Pro subscribers can also save up to 100 custom images as favorites (perfect for uploading tokens you’ve made or downloaded from elsewhere). Better Browsing The left toolbar is now resizable, making it easier to manage your view without so much scrolling! New Textures ( Pro ) Background Textures apply environmental styles (grass, stone, snow, etc.) across the whole background layer of your map (hot tip: lock to preserve when adding new layers). Floor Textures apply to individual layers and auto-mask inside shapes, giving you options like marble, wood, and stone flooring without hand-drawing. Both offer color or B&W options, and some customization. Easy Map Sharing (Pro) Generate a shareable link for any cloud-saved map. Anyone can open it (even without an account), and get their own copy to download, export, or edit. Sharing can be turned off anytime if you decide to stop future shares. Read about all these updates in full + watch a video showing them off in our blog: https://blog.roll20.net/posts/dungeon-scrawl-new-tools-for-better-maps As always, thanks for your feedback. This update sounds really useful, especially the new textures and easier sharing features—it’s great to see tools evolving to make creative work smoother. The favorites option also seems like a big time-saver for ongoing projects. While exploring different tools and resources recently, I also came across some helpful info through Court case records that gave me a different perspective on how organized data systems can improve access and usability. Overall, this feels like a solid improvement that many users will appreciate.
Really loving the direction of this update—favorites and textures make map-building feel much more streamlined and creative. The sharing feature is especially helpful for collaborating with others without extra hassle. I recently came across some useful data tools like property data Putnam and it reminded me how much easier things get when access and usability are improved like this. Overall, this feels like a solid step forward for both casual users and pros.
