It just occured to me that it would be nice if the units measured when I move a token or use the measuring tool could be in hours and minutes.

As far as i know this is already possible, you just need to open your page settings and change the unit in the scale section. Although units used for time measurement aren't on the list to choose from, you can just type your own units.
