TurnMarker1 - Auto-focus for the character's player?

I'm using TurnMarker1 for highlighting token turns in a tactical combat game. Some tokens are able to cloak. We use the opacity slider for this. That way, the token is still on the board and selectable by its owner(s) and me (the GM) but no one else. The problem now is that the only way for the token's owner(s) to select the token is to "search" for it on the map by selecting areas via drag-and-drop. Is there an easier way to do this via the R20 UI? Barring that, TurnMarker1 performs an auto-focus/highlight for the GM when advancing through the Turn Tracker. If I modified the script, could I do the same for the token's character sheet controller? If so, what's the best way to do this?

I would suggest using Bump for that case.  When you bump a token, it will move to the gm layer and be replaced by a transparent token with an aura on the objects layer.  In the case of an NPC, only the GM will see this new token, but you can select and adjust it just like a regular token.  If it is a PC, only the controlling players will be able to see the aura of the token to know where it is.  Best of all, TurnMarker1 will also skip over those Bump'd tokens. (which is configurable)
