Hey there! My name is Tea, I’m a 20 year old woman (she/her), and I’m currently looking for an online DnD or Pathfinder group to join as a player. Experience I consider myself a beginner/intermediate player in DnD, seeing as I’ve only ever played a couple one shots and one campaign that I joined very late into. That campaign was set in Ravnica, and whilst I did definitely enjoy it I was also thrust into playing a Level 11 character as a beginner player— which made all the mechanics much more confusing at the time. Since then I’ve been learning the rules in my own time, replaying Baldur’s Gate 3 far too many times, and creating characters to better understand different mechanics and lore. I am up for learning anything, and am very adaptable to new systems or settings I may not have researched before since researching is one of my favourite parts of DnD besides roleplay. As for Pathfinder I am very new and have never played a campaign or one-shot before, but I find I actually prefer the character creation in Pathfinder to DnD because it’s much more specific. I am comfortable using Roll20 and Discord, though I may need some help with Roll20 occasionally because I’m nowhere near proficient. What I’m Looking For Ideally, I want to join a group that focuses more on roleplay and characters than just combat. I think one of the most appealing things in DnD/Pathfinder is story-telling and world-building, so it is important to me that the DM and other players care about that too. I want to be invested and as excited about the world as the DM. I would prefer a high fantasy setting rather than medieval, modern, or apocalyptic, but I am willing to do any if the world-building is good. I’m also fine with homebrew as well as non-homebrew. I like to work closely with my DM when creating a character so they fit naturally into the world and story. I enjoy writing detailed backstories and NPCs, but I see these as optional tools for the DM long-term rather than expectations. I’m always happy to adapt to suit the campaign. I care about long-term character arcs and collaboration, not spotlight or immediate reveals. I also draw my characters often because I’m an artist too. I am very anti AI image generation and I am not comfortable joining a group that uses AI for character art. The only thing I’m more open to is AI map generation. Please keep this in mind. I am fine with mature content, although I am not comfortable roleplaying or watching people roleplay a sexual encounter— I prefer the fade to black rule. I am also not comfortable with rape. If it is in another character’s backstory and comes up that way or it is mentioned in passing, this is fine by me, but I am not comfortable with rape being graphically depicted during the campaign. Availability I live in England, so my timezone is GMT. I can play anytime between 2pm-12am GMT everyday besides Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays. On Sundays I am available between 6pm-12am instead.
