I'm preparing for an upcoming Daggerheart game, so I'm creating some macros for convenience. And I can get those macros working, if I've chosen a day where Daggerheart sheet attributes actually load. But the next day they fail because the attribute values on the sheet have an eternal spinner, rather than actual values. I'm logged into Demiplane in the same browser. I can click the sheet to make rolls in Demiplane (which don't appear in Roll20 chat, should they?) and I can click the sheet in Roll20 to make rolls that go to Roll20 chat. I can see changes made to the sheet in one location reflected in the other location. But I cannot get the character attribute values to load. This renders macros and scripts useless. And nothing even warns you that they're not loaded. And there's no "push this button to reset" option. Oh wait, I closed my browser, relaunched, opened Demiplane first, then went into Roll20, then clicked to add an armor slot in Demiplane (the magic?), then opened the character in Roll20, and it's all working again. Now that I know the magic incantation, I'm sure I can get my players to follow the same steps every session, without fail. /s This is more frustrating than the 5e 2024 sheets. I like Demiplane, but the level of inconvenience to use this integration has risen above the level of inconvenience of getting my players accustomed to using a new VTT. That's a lot of inconvenience. And frustration.
