Hello! We are currently recruiting for an upcoming bi-weekly In Nomine campaign that would be played with Discord for voice. We currently have an experienced In Nomine GM and two players with up to three more players welcome. The session time will be determined based on player availability either Saturday or Sunday starting as early as 12:00 pm noon Eastern or as late as 3:00 pm Eastern and running for approximately four hours. Once set, we'll stick with the same schedule moving forward. We're looking to get started soon once player recruitment has completed. The game will be set in the mid 1990s in a city where the celestials currently have a truce, allowing both angel and demon PCs to be played. The GM is very open to a wide variety of different character types, but players should obviously create characters who are both able and willing to work with celestials from the other side. Please post below or message me if you are interested in playing. Please include: Brief introduction to you as a player How familiar you are with In Nomine (if at all) Your weekend availability between the hours of 12:00-7:00 pm Eastern Sat and Sun Just let me know here or by DM if you have any questions. I'm happy to introduce new players to the setting. * * * For those who are not familiar with it, In Nomine is an RPG set in an alternate version of the modern world where Heaven and Hell are engaged in a covert cold war for the souls of mankind. Players portray celestials (angels and demons) or other servants of Heaven or Hell, each serving a Superior (archangel or demon prince) with their own agenda related to the corner of reality they promote through their Word (e.g. Destiny/Fate, War, Freedom, Judgement, Creation, Lust, and so on). Celestials act behind the scenes, keeping their actions hidden from humanity and their celestial rivals, though conflict does occasionally break out. Angels don't always get along with, and sometimes actively oppose, other angels. Same with demons. Most gameplay occurs on earth where characters have a degree of autonomy so long as they don't overly piss off their archangel or demon prince boss. The setting usually doesn't take itself too seriously and has a great sense of humor, but does contain mature themes. The system is based around a 3d6 mechanic with relatively simple character creation. The core mechanic is very easy to understand and play but the system has a ton of interesting character options allowing for very unique and memorable characters.
