Hi. I made a copy of a Legacy Game table and it does not bear the Legacy tag. Does that mean it is a Jumpgate table instead of Legacy?

Correct, you need to switch the engine over to Legacy if making a copy of a Legacy game and you want to keep the copy as a Legacy game.
