hey folks. this might be a long shot, but i figured i’d throw it out there. when i was a teenager i was part of a shadowrun game that was basically re-skinned into a street racing campaign. think fast & furious, but using the shadowrun system. runners weren’t doing corporate espionage so much as boosting cars, running underground races, dodging law enforcement, smuggling tech across city sectors, and getting into all the trouble that comes with that life. it was chaotic, stylish, and honestly one of the most fun tabletop experiences i’ve ever had. i’ve been craving something like that again for years. so i’m wondering if anyone out there might be interested in GMing a shadowrun game with that kind of vibe . something street level, racing focused, maybe a little crime, a little neon, lots of engines and bad decisions. the system would still be shadowrun, just flavored more toward street racing crews, illegal circuits, car mods, and urban shenanigans . about me real quick:
i’ve been roleplaying for a long time, mostly text-based these days. i’m pretty easygoing as a player, i like character-driven stuff, cool worldbuilding, and just having fun with people. not looking for anything super hardcore or rules-lawyery. mostly just a chill game with cool characters and a good GM who wants to run something stylish and different . ideally this would be:
text based
free to play
casual / chill vibe
people who want to tell a fun story together
if this sounds like something you’d enjoy running, please feel free to DM me . even if you’re just curious or want to brainstorm the idea a bit.
