Hi Guildmaster Grim! The text editor for Roll20 is extremely old and outdated, but there is caution about updating it since the chance of breaking things for a lot of people is fairly high. What is most likely is that there is a mismatched set of HTML bold tags that are not getting closed properly. There are a couple of things you can try that might mitigate it. 1. select the empty paragraph where you want to past, and press the Normal style from the dopr down, followed by the erase formatting button. 2. Always copy from a handout in edit mode. This is actually more important now that header level linking is possible. 3. (Last ditch) Follow step 1 above, but shift-paste to paste unformatted text. Then format manually. Don't have many other, better options. Sorry.
