Hey everyone! We’re a group of 4 players + 1 DM looking to add a **fifth player** to our ongoing D&D 5e campaign on Roll20. This group began a few years ago through a LFG post on Roll20, and we are looking to fill a seat at the table. ## Campaign Background This campaign takes place in a homebrew setting called Aeonis, during a pivotal moment in its early history. Our first campaign was a homebrew continuation of Lost Mine of Phandelver along the Sword Coast. About 200 years later, a cataclysmic event known as “The Shift” caused the planes to collapse. In response, several gods gathered their followers and transported them to a newly formed world—Aeonis—built from the remnants of the old reality. One of the unique aspects of this campaign: each current player helped create this world, designing nations, cultures, and peoples that now exist within Aeonis. This campaign (1.5) takes place roughly one year after the Shift, while Campaign 2 is set much later. ## Campaign Overview "The world of Aeonis is drying out, as the once-reliable seasons have become mere stories of the pre-shift world. Communities cling to rivers, lakes, and smaller waterways as water becomes the most valuable resource on the continent, driving political tension, factional rivalries, and the threat of open war. Druids labor tirelessly to hold civilization together through magic and weather-working, but even they disagree on how the future of the world should be shaped. As borders harden and alliances strain, a council is formed, tasked with seeking answers before instability turns catastrophic. As characters, you will be serving as diplomats, envoys, problem-solvers, or specialists tasked with navigating a world where magic, nature, and politics have become inseparably entangled." ## Group and Playstyle - Current group: 4 players + DM (4M, 1W) - Looking for: **1 additional player** - Experience level: Preferably comfortable with D&D 5e (2014) and comfort playing at higher levels (Level 10+) - Tone: Collaborative, immersive, and respectful (less jokey/meme characters) We want players who will engage with roleplay of the story, mechanics of combat, the story/motives of characters, and the general group dynamic. This group prioritize the time we play D&D, and do the best we can to be available for playtime. The same would be expected of anyone joining the group. ## Logistics - Platform: Roll20 + Discord - Character Sheets: Roll20 or D&D Beyond - Content Available: D&D WikiDot Material (with DM approval) - Schedule: Weekly Sessions on Sundays @ 5:00PM ET You will be creating/playing Level 10 characters, with some limits on species/race (based on the worldbuilding) and classes (based on mechanics). ## How to Apply If you’re interested, make a post answering all the following questions on this forum or here: https://app.roll20.net/forum/permalink/12707366/ Responses that do not answer all questions will not be reviewed. After reviewing responses, I will contact individuals for a Voice interview/discussion via Discord. From there, we shall see if you are a good fit for the table. - What is your name and pronouns? - What is your age? - How consistently available are you for the Sunday 5:00PM ET games? - Can you tell me a little about your experience with TTRPG/D&D? - What would you enjoy the most in a campaign? What type of stories do you want to play in? - What would you not enjoy in a campaign? - If you have a rough character concept, what is it? (optional and does not have to be detailed, but appreciated) Happy to answer any questions! We’re excited to find someone who will mesh well with the group and help bring Aeonis to life.
Applied! Hopefully correctly 😁
