Hello! I have a campaign with two players that recently lost some people, are we are looking to fill in 2 more people. In order to do this, we plan on running a mini-campaign for 3 sessions, the first of which will be a combination session 0 for character building/session 1. The campaign takes place in my homebrew world of Laralen, a world that is terribly damaged by war and where most magic has been snuffed out. For the mini campaign, you will be playing as conscripted members of the Wings of Pestilence, the army of an evil sorcerer who had waged war on the world long ago. With the war stalled, this sorcerers army has little to do other than hunt people who stray too far from the remaining safe cities. Your characters will be people who have been captured and forced to join and will have an opportunity to escape. Since this is a lower magic setting, there will be no full casters allowed, so keep that in mind if you plan on joining. We’ll start the mini campaign at level 8. We play every Sunday at 12pm CT, and sessions run at least 4 hours. If you have other obligations on that day, please do not apply. We have had too many issues with people trying to cram this into their Sunday without realizing how big of a time commitment it is. We would also prefer a slightly older (late 20’s and up) crowd. We have had too many issues with college students not being able to manage their time and cancelling at the last minute. You may want to consider your timezone before you attempt to join. While we don't mind playing with people outside the US, the time zone differences have caused issues in the past with other players, and we would prefer to avoid this. This is a mature campaign. It is more Game of Thrones than Lord of the Rings. While I will absolutely limit the bad things I will do to the players, there are parts of this world that are BAD.
