How do I get more stuff in the Charactermancer?

Hallo, how do I get more feats and rules into the charactermancer? A friend of mine wants to pay for me to have that stuff. I dont know what stuff I should buy to get the feats / martial art types / oaths etc? If I buy them now for 2014 what happens if I 2024 ever becomes mandatory? thank you :)

Hi Picco! Well to begin with, 2024 will never become mandatory. It might be the only option for some future official content, but you can play any edition of D&D you like all the way back to OD&D 1974. However, if you are looking for more official material that works with the Charactermancer (2014 sheet) or the Character Builder (2024 sheet), your best option is to purchase it in the Ro200 Marketplace (assuming you intend to play D&D on Roll20). You can always just manually add any custom material you like, but the material that has been prepared for automated character building requires a purchase at some point. There is no upgrade path for free updating from 2014 purchases to 2024 purchases, in the same way you can't send your 2014 print books to Wizards of the Coast for a discount on 2024 books. Fortunately, Roll20 has done their best to allow you to mix and match content. You can run both official sheets in the same game, and that looks to be a long term commitment from Roll20. If that didn't answer a specific concern, please post again, and I'll try to address anything overlooked.

Hello keithcurtis, oh that 2014 will remain is good to hear and thank you for the answer. Yeah I am looking for stuff to purchase but I dont know what. There is a lot there and I have no idea what will get me the charactermancer stuff. Can you tell me how to find / identify the right bundles or maybe suggest some? I have never spend money on here before so I am rather lost. I can see the market place but what of that is actually relevant?
