Map overflowing off the edge?

Move a image to the map layer and zoom in to get just the area I want, but the rest of the map is still uh "overflowing" off the map layer rather then just vanishing, is their a button or micro I'm missing or do I just have to suck it up, (the players cant see it but I can which is almost more annoying lmao)
That is actually a feature, not a bug. :)  The GM can see all parts of an image, even any part that extends past the defined grid. There is no way to turn that off.
Ah a shame but thanks a ton for the answer! Wish I could "cut it away" But oh well! <3
You could overlay a completely black image over the portions off of the grid to “hide” them from yourself…
I've used this feature to bring in effects from "off-screen" (fog and other atmospheric effects, creeping darkness, etc.). Being able to see the image outside of the grid lets me more easily control how it enters the players' field of view. The empty space around the grid also allows the GM to hide things off-screen. In the past, I used to create a 3 or 4 grid square "frame" around the map using dynamic lighting barriers to create space for staging NPC tokens and other images.
