Looking for Player - Savage Tide Campaign 3.5

Arrr Howdy Land Lubbers. We had a player drop out of our campaign so we got an oppurtunity for a new player. We are looking for one player to join our campaign. Game will be on Mondays australia time (so sunday in americia) at 10am. Starting at Level 2. The party would like a ranger/barbarian/fighter/rouge but choice is entirely up to u. I am looking for a players to play in the Savage Tides adventure path. It is the last campaign made by wizards of the coast before they changed to version 4/pathfinder and the majority of it is set upon the open sea. It will start at level one with characters who will go from humble fisherman to above level 20 epic level heroes....or pirates. Realistically however to play it through properly it will take many many many weeks So what Im really looking for are a group of friends who are brave enough to commit to bringing this game to life once a week over the next year. You should like to have fun, have a good sense of humour and willing to at times have a go making the game interesting and enjoyable. Below I will list the details of the campaign including a link to the Savage Tide players guide. Feel free to pm the idea for the character if your interested in being part of this. Savage Tide Players Guide for Character creation. http://paizo.com/dungeonissues/SavageTide/SavageT... Remember Its an aquatic campaign. Heavy armour will make you sink!! Important Skills: Swim, Proffesion (sailing), Survival, Knowledge (Geography). Answer all five questions well and get your district feat for free!! Five Background Questions 1.You grew up in Sasserine. Which district was it in and what do you think about the district now? 2. Who were your parents and family? 3. You do not have to pay for food each day or living costs while in the city. Why, where do you live and how do u earn or obtain your food? 4. Your character has been influenced by one of these organisations as they grew up The Church of the Whirling Fury, Dawn Council, Scarlet Brotherhood, The Seekers, Witchwardens and Zelkarune’s Horns. Which one? They are briefly described near the end of the players guide under affiliations. 5.An event has recently given you a small amount of notoriety within Sasserine. What happened?
A couple of questions: What (if anything) are you using for voice/video? What other books are you using? Specifically, are you okay with the Soulknife class from Expanded Psionics (it's somewhere between a fighter and a rogue, with a bit less power and a bit more flavor)? I'll pick a name once I get home to my books to pick a race, but here's what I was thinking: 1) He grew up in Champion's District, and was raised in a tradition of honor and valor. He'll always think of it as home, but his forays into the world in search of exotic beasts have ignited his curiosity and wanderlust. 2) His mother was a militant cleric who fell in with a group of adventurers, who eventually needed to hire a bit more muscle for a particular job. His father was a member of a well-regarded mercenary company, who was hired out to a group of adventurers in need of a bit more muscle. The rest, as they say, is history. While his parents are too old to do such strenuous work anymore, he has an older brother who is a member of the guard. He has never met any of his extended family, and is unaware if he even has any still alive. 3) When not out seeking exotic beasts for the Horns, he earns his silver by assisting at a local smithy, where he can be close to the arms and armor he loves. 4) Since boyhood, he was always enthralled by the harrowing tales of the members of Zelkarune's Horns. While not yet skilled enough to earn a living and support his aging parents by adventuring for the Horns, he longs to get to that point. 5) He has no formal training as a soulknife; until recently, all of his fighting had been done using traditional weapons. However, on a recent hunting trip with a couple childhood friends, they had stealthily stolen his sword as a prank, thinking no harm would come of it. When they stumbled into an ambush and were attacked by wild beasts, he instinctively drew his sword and swung. To everyone's surprise, despite the fact that his sword hadn't actually been present in his scabbard, a blade had come out and cut down the attacking beast. Word has begun to spread that he can fight with a sword, even without the sword.
I want to see if this is acceptable first or if I need more info. I can add more info once what I have so far is deemed acceptable. I have selected a name though: Raulon. District: Champion District. Parents and Family: raised by immigrant parents who left him to pursue a life outside the slums. With their rich warrior history, they gave their son to a place to eventually be trained when able. Upon the revelation of his origins, Raulon no longer considered the arena and surrounding taverns his home. How do you earn food: Odd-jobs, arena battles, and being a bouncer.l Influential organization: Zelkarune's Horns; mostly a necessary membership having been rasied in their home dsitrct. he is subordinate, but not a zealot of the arena. Event of notoriety: Framed for the mass murder of a group of civilians.
