I'm going to assume that you are asking about the D&D SRD. I don't know if other game systems use that terminology. (There are hundreds of game systems being played on Roll20 besides D&D) After you create a game, go to it's title page and look under Settings, then select Game Settings. Scroll down to Content Sharing, then make sure the compendiums that you want to use are selected - the compendiums that you own will turn green when you click on them. The Free Basic Rules 2014 and the Free Basic Rules 2024 will have the information from those SRDs. Once your settings are saved, the information in those compendiums will be searchable under the compendium tab within your game ( the fourth tab from the left). You can search for a specific NPC (monster) or just select "monsters" to list all of them. Once you find the one you want you can drag-and-drop it form the compendium to the VTT, which will create a linked token on the VTT and a NPC character sheet under the Journal tab. For any NPC stat blocks that you find outside of Roll20, you will need to manually create their NPC character sheets, supply token art, and manually link those tokens to the sheets Screen shot showing the "Settings" Menu on a game's title page. This is from a backup of one of my games.
