Import Multi-Sided Token?

Basically, if I make a character with a multi-sided token (aka rollable table token) assigned as its token in a game I control and import that character to my GM's game, what happens? Does it glitch? Does it corrupt the token? Do I risk corrupting the game?

Hi Uwe! It should transfer just fine, and intact. All a multisided token is, is a regular token with a list of image URLs instead of a single image URL. As long as the images exist somewhere on Roll20, they should function everywhere.

I really liked the idea of the token itself literally changing, but wanted to keep the burden of setting that up on my side.
I did not know this! I always assumed that the images had to be in the art library of the game creator. This should probably be added to the Wiki article on Rollable tables. keithcurtis said: Hi Uwe! If that were the case, MyCharacters and the Character Vault would not be able to function. I typically store images used in the API scripts I publish in my own library.
So a multisided token attached to a character sheet isn't connected to the rollable table from which the token was created? That would be why changes to the rollable table don't affect an existing multisided token; why it requires a new token to be created and linked. I've never used Character Vault to transfer a character sheet with a multisided token, so that never occurred to me. I'll keep that in mind the next time I create a character for use in someone else's game :)  keithcurtis said: If that were the case, MyCharacters and the Character Vault would not be able to function. You're exactly correct.  Once a multisided token (rollable table token) is created, it is completely unrelated to the rollable table.  The other thing to be aware of is that weights from the table do not translate to likelihood of a side when you choose random side on the token.  Effectively, all sides have a weight of 1 once it becomes a token.
