Predetermined Light Setting for placing objects

Score + 2
I would like to be able to decide ahead of time how objects will have lighting applied; Wall, One Way, or Transparent.  I think it could be a toggle on the Lighting level.  So you toggle it on and all objects from then on are created having this applied.  Change the toggle or set it back to default when you are done with that type of object.    Here is one way I would use this.  When I am populating a room with tables, a bench, or a low shelf etc. I like to apply a Transparent Wall so the objects can be seen over but not walked over.  If the objects are such that the PCs would not be able to see over them apply a regular wall... This will speed up map generation. Of course keep the edit-ability so you can tweak objects that were created during the time when you had a toggle turned on.
When I'm applying Dynamic Lighting barriers, it already defaults to the last style that I used. For instance, I select pen/polyline tool, then set the color to be magenta, the type to one-way wall, and the width to small, then draw my lines. Now, the next time that I select the draw tool it defaults to those same settings. It works this way for me in both Chrome and Firefox.
Yes this is true.  I'm looking for a way to not have to draw 'light' around each object.  I'm always looking for a way to make creating more efficient, less time consuming.
So, are you asking for objects to have barriers automatically created as the object is placed, instead of having to first place the object then manually add the barriers around it?. I agree that would be an amazing function, but it sounds like a pretty heavy lift. You've got my vote though.
Yes that is what I want.  I believe in the programmers, they can do it!
