DealInit Bug

Starting a few months ago, DealInit seems to not be displaying the nice number and suit graphics anymore in the initiative window. It has been displaying text of the number and suit. 3♥ as an example At first I thought it was a broken asset of mine but then I realized I am not supplying the images to it like I would in a rollable table. A google search indicated that it might be an issue with the source that DealInit is pulling from. I have just been ignoring it until my campaign was over but I don't see any other posts on this and I have not seen any updates for DealInit. Is this something that others have seen?

I suspect there was a change in the way that HTML entities are processed by the Turn Order UI.  I'll see what I can figure out.
Hi, have you had any luck on this or do you need any more information from me?

This fixed it for me: Disable the mod in Roll 20 Delete mod in roll20 Go to dealinit github site ( roll20-api-scripts/Deal-Init/1.9/Deal-Init.js at master · Roll20/roll20-api-scripts · GitHub ) Copy the Deal-Init.js script Replace the stackMakeDeck section with below Back in Roll20, select New Script Paste the modified script  Enable it, restart your mod Test Note: I have not fully tested this , but so far it seems to work.   Ideally, I'd fork and submit a PR, but it doesn't look like it's been touched in 4 years... //----------------------------------------------------------------------------- // stackMakeDeck(n): Initializes a stack using 1 deck of cards. //----------------------------------------------------------------------------- stackMakeDeck = function() { // create array of cards to hold the deck this.cards = []; // fill card deck array with cards: cardRank, shortName, longName this.cards[0] = new Card(0, "2♣", "2 of Clubs"); this.cards[1] = new Card(1, "2♦", "2 of Diamonds"); this.cards[2] = new Card(2, "2♥", "2 of Hearts"); this.cards[3] = new Card(3, "2♠", "2 of Spades"); this.cards[4] = new Card(4, "3♣", "3 of Clubs"); this.cards[5] = new Card(5, "3♦", "3 of Diamonds"); this.cards[6] = new Card(6, "3♥", "3 of Hearts"); this.cards[7] = new Card(7, "3♠", "3 of Spades"); this.cards[8] = new Card(8, "4♣", "4 of Clubs"); this.cards[9] = new Card(9, "4♦", "4 of Diamonds"); this.cards[10] = new Card(10, "4♥", "4 of Hearts"); this.cards[11] = new Card(11, "4♠", "4 of Spades"); this.cards[12] = new Card(12, "5♣", "5 of Clubs"); this.cards[13] = new Card(13, "5♦", "5 of Diamonds"); this.cards[14] = new Card(14, "5♥", "5 of Hearts"); this.cards[15] = new Card(15, "5♠", "5 of Spades"); this.cards[16] = new Card(16, "6♣", "6 of Clubs"); this.cards[17] = new Card(17, "6♦", "6 of Diamonds"); this.cards[18] = new Card(18, "6♥", "6 of Hearts"); this.cards[19] = new Card(19, "6♠", "6 of Spades"); this.cards[20] = new Card(20, "7♣", "7 of Clubs"); this.cards[21] = new Card(21, "7♦", "7 of Diamonds"); this.cards[22] = new Card(22, "7♥", "7 of Hearts"); this.cards[23] = new Card(23, "7♠", "7 of Spades"); this.cards[24] = new Card(24, "8♣", "8 of Clubs"); this.cards[25] = new Card(25, "8♦", "8 of Diamonds"); this.cards[26] = new Card(26, "8♥", "8 of Hearts"); this.cards[27] = new Card(27, "8♠", "8 of Spades"); this.cards[28] = new Card(28, "9♣", "9 of Clubs"); this.cards[29] = new Card(29, "9♦", "9 of Diamonds"); this.cards[30] = new Card(30, "9♥", "9 of Hearts"); this.cards[31] = new Card(31, "9♠", "9 of Spades"); this.cards[32] = new Card(32, "10♣", "10 of Clubs"); this.cards[33] = new Card(33, "10♦", "10 of Diamonds"); this.cards[34] = new Card(34, "10♥", "10 of Hearts"); this.cards[35] = new Card(35, "10♠", "10 of Spades"); this.cards[36] = new Card(36, "J♣", "Jack of Clubs"); this.cards[37] = new Card(37, "J♦", "Jack of Diamonds"); this.cards[38] = new Card(38, "J♥", "Jack of Hearts"); this.cards[39] = new Card(39, "J♠", "Jack of Spades"); this.cards[40] = new Card(40, "Q♣", "Queen of Clubs"); this.cards[41] = new Card(41, "Q♦", "Queen of Diamonds"); this.cards[42] = new Card(42, "Q♥", "Queen of Hearts"); this.cards[43] = new Card(43, "Q♠", "Queen of Spades"); this.cards[44] = new Card(44, "K♣", "King of Clubs"); this.cards[45] = new Card(45, "K♦", "King of Diamonds"); this.cards[46] = new Card(46, "K♥", "King of Hearts"); this.cards[47] = new Card(47, "K♠", "King of Spades"); this.cards[48] = new Card(48, "A♣", "Ace of Clubs"); this.cards[49] = new Card(49, "A♦", "Ace of Diamonds"); this.cards[50] = new Card(50, "A♥", "Ace of Hearts"); this.cards[51] = new Card(51, "A♠", "Ace of Spades"); this.cards[52] = new Card(52, "BJo", "Black Joker"); this.cards[53] = new Card(53, "RJo", "Red Joker"); if (fourJokers > 0) { this.cards[54] = new Card(54, "SJo", "Silver Joker"); this.cards[55] = new Card(55, "YJo", "Yellow Joker"); } },
Thank you. Your fix works. The only problem is that the suits are all black in color but the icons are good enough. At first it was running a lot slower with a noticeable delay between clicking my macro button and execution but after running it a few times it is now just as fast as it was. Thanks!
