Please, Is There Some Way to Turn Off the New Floating Menu in Map View?

This is not an urgent matter, but having just noticed it, yesterday, it is a bit bothersome at times. I quite like it and really like that I can get page settings to pop up more readily, but it gets in the way sometimes. Even when double clicking the left symbol to shrink it to a little thing, sometimes I just don't want this floating around. I could not find anything in settings. Curiously, this seems to be hidden in an announcement on 8/19/2026 as the "hot map bar" but as I said, I have not noticed it until yesterday.

Hi Tim! It was introduced at the same time the map sizing tool was announced, and gives real-time control over pages. Double clicking to minimize it seems to be the closest you can get to dismissing it. It could probably be hidden with a style using the Stylus extension, but that might be more trouble than it's worth.

It must be because I've been doing a lot of tuning up of mods the past while. Plus I'm old and cranky and don't like new things. LOL
Mine always appears at the bottom of my screen, so it's usually out of the way. You can also reposition it by left-click-and-holding the icon at the far left.
