Support for scalable graphics would allow things like, really, really big maps that look good at any zoom level. General support for SVG would also allow the possibility for native import to the light layer. To be clear, I mean that it would be awesome to support SVG uploads to our library and purchases via the marketplace.

Aren't the built-in graphic tools SVG? I like the possibilities of importing SVG... layers and more layers.

I have a Walls script that converts an SVG into shapes on the dynamic lighting layer. I could probably write one that takes SVG images and draws them using the native Roll20 graphics.

That would be really cool!
SVG would be particularly good for iconic art, such as custom Status Indicator Art, and custom Dice Facing Art.

This would be great, especially as the hidden css for the DnD5E OGL sheet can use them.
I agree : allowing import of pictures in svg format would be great. We will have better quality and with very few disk space usage.
