So, I'm starting up a campaign with a new crew of players. I've previously run 4e at an actual tabletop, but this is my first foray into both virtual tables and 5e. The sheet provided for 5e seems quite nice and extensive, however I[and my players] find myself a bit overwhelmed by it. I really want to take advantage of all the automation the sheet can provide, but I'm having a hell of a time checking if things are entered correctly. I guess what I'm asking is would someone be so kind as to help me? Perhaps jump into my session to look at some examples and tell me where I'm being dumb? I wish I could articulate the problems clearly here, but I honestly don't even know where to begin. Add on top of that the fact that I'm learning 5e at the same time, and this becomes even more problematic.
