FF still crashes with roll20 and PF sheet

Posted this before here . Thought I would see if anything new has come up? Recap, running a clean install (no add-ons) of FF 33.1 on (win 8.1 pro 64-bit, i5-2550 3.4mHz, 8GB ram, AMD Radeon HD 7850(2GB)) 3d dice are off, and I'm using voice only. As soon as I try to access the PF sheet FF memory and CPU spike and often crash FF. Memory often spikes to over 3300+MB for FF, CPU 28% All other aspects of the campaign editor work fine in FF and I have no issues using Chrome. In desperation, I've installed Pale Moon (alternate version of Firefox) that handles roll20 and the PF sheet without issue. It's only apparent drawback is lack of webRTC support. Any suggestions? Thanks

Without any apparent changes on my end, the PF sheet, although it spikes very high 2-3GB upon opening, isn't crashing FF at the moment. Not sure what has changed.

Vince, the PF sheet is huge, with tons of fields/inputs. Is it possible that it's the large nature of the sheet that's killing your FF? Does this happen with other sheets, other browsers? I'm wondering if this isn't more of a character sheet issue than a bug.

I don't have issues with Chrome (Version 39.0.2171.71 m (64-bit)) or Palemoon (v25.1.0 (x86), FF-based w/out webRTC) when using the PF sheet. I can open other sheets in FF including the D&D 5e and 3.5 without it killing FF(v33.1.1). I just updated FF (no add ons), created a new campaign with the PF sheet to test. No scripts. FF isn't crashing completely, but FF memory spikes at close to 3GB in the task manager whenever I use the sheet. FF is often tagged "Not Responding" in TM as well. There isn't anything close to that memory usage in Chrome and Palemoon.

Is the sheet you're loading filled out or is it blank as well? Does that make a difference?

I only added one attack to the repeating attacks tab. I'll try some tests with a fully fleshed out sheet and report back.

Vince, I'm not able to replicate the issue you're having, memory or otherwise. Do you want to PM me a link to your campaign and I'll try it on the same sheets you're having issues with?

I'll copy-paste it here too as Vince advised me. and it's a similar problem (withouth the crash luckily) I'm having some issues when opening the character sheet with Firefox. The browser starts to slow down and opening or closing the sheet take up to 5 seconds and appears very sluggish. Browsing is also slowed down but not as much unless i change section (like going from "attacks" to "defense"), then it "freeze" again and after a while it will load up. I have no issues with chromes, so it seems a firefox only problem. Anybody know what's up? How to resolve? I've already tried disabling all my extension and themes but it doesn't change anything (even with safe mode). Reinstalling nor clearing the cache didn't help. Also i've noticed that clicking on the dices that perform the roll directly into the chat takes a while. I use a laptop but it's more than decent, with an i7 core, 6 GB of ram and a nvidia video card. Opening firefox using the nvidia instead of the integrated graphics card doesn't solve the problem. Searching a bit on the net yelded me almost nothing, except the fact that it might be Firefox's poor performance with javascript... Edit: My cpu usage values are not as bad as Vince, i'll go from 350MB to 410MB while opening the sheet. I'm not using 3D dices nor any kind of communication with anybody via the site (we talk on teamspeak).

Christian, I just dove into Vince's game and ran the sheet just fine in Firefox. I have a very similar set up to Vince, hardware and software, but I'm not having the memory issues you two seem to be. I'm not able to replicate the problem which means it's probably not an issue with Roll20 and it's more likely an issue for you locally.
Just a minor clarification: the problem appears when opening a minimized journal (double clicking when it's in that semi-transparent mode), and only if it must open the character sheet. Not if the Bio&Info or Attribute&abilities are selected, but the problem return when clicking on the sheet. I guess it has something to do with the bulk of the sheet since in another campaign (don't know which version of D&D but it's not pathfinder) it doesn't happen (the "opening" animation it's not smooth but it come out quickly), and it has a smaller character sheet. I'll try to ask the other member of the campaign if they have the same issue, but if you already tried and found nothing i doubt it will be useful. I have no idea what could be causing the issue. Thanks for the help anyway.

Just an update. The latest changes underway on the Dev server has totally resolved the issue of FF crashing on the PF sheet. Can't wait to see this on the production servers... Thank you.
