I have only ever GMed, so in starting a new game with a current player, I ran into a teensy buzsaw. I have a non-donor player that is playing in two games and wants to know how her name can show up as her character in the second game... Thanks :)
Join Game, then go to the Gear button / Settings button at the top-right. In the settings there is a place to change your Display Name for that particular campaign. You can make it the same as your Roll20 name, or a different name, or your character name. I usually put Player Name (and Character Name in parentheses).
In each game board (where the map and chat is at) you can go into the settings tab (gear icons) and change your display name. It is part way down the tab. Now they can also, if they have a sheet assigned to them, change their posting name for text. Does that help?
