European player seeking any game wherein magic class-type available

So ya, as the title says I'm a player any game where i may be a magic user of some type. I'm VERY familiar with D&D, tried WoD a tiny tiny bit, but never really caught me a super ton much. I have tried a game called "Fate" or something like that, the so called "free-form" style it uses sorta confused the living hell out of me. But i learn fast, and is more then willing to fill in a slot where requested, as long as i get to be a magic user. I do not care weather it'll be Offensive, Defensive or Supportive roles that i'll be ask to fill, as long as i get to play and be a magic user. I'm from Denmark, which is in Europe (in case you did not know :P), Denmark's Timezone is GMT +1 (1 hour ahead of London) Currently I'm playing a Warforged Duskblade in a game every Tuesday, so can't join games during that day. Also, I get home from school at around 4:45pm (my time), and won't be playing until 5:30pm (my time) at the earliest. I got skype, but is willing to user other methods for voice RPing. If i'm what you seek, reply or PM me and let's discuss the possible future.

Donovan, I am running AD&D (Adventures Dark & Deep) which is what 2nd Edition could have become if Gary Gygax remained with TSR. You are welcome to play a Magic User type in the game. The 3 magic user classes in the game are a Mage, Illusionist, and Savant. I will be willing to teach you the game. The game is set for Saturdays at 1200 GMT. I look forward to hearing from you. John

John Oh my god, been many years since i last played AD&D! I would LOOOOVVEEE to join and re-learn it! I will send you PM with my Skype and i hope you are very active and can get me ready by the time you guys play! I'm very enthusiastic when it comes to RPGs, mostly the book style ones due to the massive flexability. Stupid PC games which denies me to climb up trees and act like a crazy monkey while throwing holy dog food at people and...... You get the idea i bet ;)

I'm looking to play an open adventuring game, not so much dungeons. I can't DM anything but I would love to throw in the hat with you, if you find anything. Preferably looking to play ranger, or some kind of fighter I guess?

I'm willing to run a L5R game to check out the system. If you guys want to be magic heavy, that can be arranged. I had a general campaign idea a while back of the evil Spider Clan trying to carve out an enclave in the lands of one of the clans that has a lot of sparsely populated territory, like Dragon or Unicorn. You could play a ronin, one of the Local Clanspeople, their in-laws or allies, or a Jade Legionnaire hunting blood mages. You could also be a minor cousin of the imperial house or their servitor families. I am using the optional rules that the damage is 4x rather than 2x the relevant stats. I will also allow shugenja to regain spell slots during the day by spending Void and doing rituals per a faith check. (this optional rule is based off original Deadlands, and makes magic more reliable)

one caveat- I'm American, and can only commit to Sunday nights, my time. I can stay up pretty late my time, but it's later for you, so it might not work.
