I have no tabletop experience, but I want to at least learn how to play a little, so I'm willing to play anything (a little lighter on the RP if possible). I can play after work 4:30-11pm EST Sunday-Thursday, 4:30-whenever Friday, and all day Saturday. I also have the first book of The Dresden Files RPG which is what I really want to play, but I'm not sure I should start out with it.

Honestly, a desire to play is more important than getting a good 'starter' system, in my opinion. As you've expressed interest in a Dresden Files game, I'd suggest heading over to this post and expressing your interest there.
