Vanishing brackets

I'm attempting to use the bio/info section of a Character entry to display some pointers for my players regarding macro use. Within it I include a complete macro as a reference. Each time I edit and save the bio/info, a layer of [] brackets disappears. (For example, [[1d20+@{strength-mod}]] becomes [1d20+@{strength-mod}] each time.) It's like there are bracket gnomes stealing them. Is this working as intended? Is there anything I can do to prevent this? I realize I could probably post the information somewhere outside the Roll20 game interface, but I'd like to keep it in game for convenience. Thanks.

Ben, I've confirmed that there are indeed bracket goblins goblining your brackets. I will notify our exterminators and put them to work ridding you of your infestation. As a work around you might consider putting these examples as Abilities for the characters. Not ideal, I know, but the Attributes and Abilities tab appears to be goblin free.
Much appreciated. Get those goblins! Using the abilities tab is an excellent suggestion, I'm doing that as well.

Ive ran into this long ago too another work around is do [[[something]]] in it, it eats the first ones and leaves [[something]] long as you dont edit it again
